Exercise A: Circle the Number 19
Say "nineteen" with your child. Ask your child to circle every number 19 in the rows below.

Exercise B: Look and Count
Point to the picture in the textbook (page 70). Your child touches each one and counts aloud. Tick the box when your child counts correctly.

Exercise C: Count and Draw
Ask your child to count nineteen stars on page 70. Then they draw them in the box.

Ask: "How many are there?" Your child says "nineteen".
Exercise D: Colour the Outline Pictures
Print 19 outline pictures of stars (as on page 71). Your child colours them, touching each one once as they count.
Ask: "How many did you colour?" Your child says "nineteen".
Exercise E: Trace the Number 19
Start at the top and go straight down for the 1. Then start the 9 just below the top line, curve round into a circle and go straight down.

Print this row in a dotted tracing font, with a dot at the starting point of each number.
Exercise F: Match the Group to the Number
Your child counts each group and draws a line from the group to the number it shows.

Say each question to your child. Your child answers aloud.
