Exercise B: Look and Count

Point to the ducklings in the textbook (page 57). Your child counts them aloud, touching each one. Tick the box when your child says each number.

Exercise C: Count and Say

Say each name aloud. Your child counts the objects in the textbook (page 59) and says how many there are.

Exercise D: Colour Fifteen

Draw a little duckling in the box fifteen times, or stick fifteen small stickers in it. Your child colours each one yellow.

Exercise F: Say the Number

Say the number to your child. Your child repeats it.

"Fifteen ducklings."

Now ask:

2. Which number comes after fourteen? (fifteen)

Exercise G: Ten and Five More

Put ten counters in a row, then add five more. Your child counts them all and writes the number in the box.
