Exercise B: Look and Count

Point to the bees in the textbook (page 47). Your child counts them aloud, touching each one. Tick the box when your child says each number.

Exercise C: Count and Say

Say each name aloud. Your child counts the objects in the textbook (page 49) and says how many there are.

Exercise D: Colour Twelve

Draw a big bee in the box twelve times, or stick twelve small stickers in it. Your child colours each one yellow and black.

Exercise E: Trace the Number 12

Start at the top. Draw a straight line down for 1. Curve round at the top for 2, come down to the bottom, pause, and add the flat foot.

Exercise F: Say the Number

Say the number to your child. Your child repeats it.

"Twelve bees."

Now ask:
