Months of the Year
Subject: English | Class: Prep | Series: Skillford
Hello children! Welcome to today's lesson. Today we are going to learn the months of the year.
There are 12 months in a year. Let us count them together as we say them. January, February, March. April, May, June. July, August, September. October, November, December. Well done!
Let us say them one more time, a little faster. January, February, March, April, May, June, July, August, September, October, November, December.
Now let us play a puzzle game. The letters of each month are all mixed up. We have to put them in the right order. The first one is U, A, R, Y, N, A, J. Which month is it? January!
E, B, R, U, F, A, R, Y. February. C, H, A, R, M. March. R, I, L, A, P. April. A, M, Y. May. N, E, U, J. June.
U, Y, L, J. July. U, G, S, T, U, A. August. M, B, P, T, E, S, E, R, E. September. O, B, T, E, R, O, C. October. M, B, E, E, R, N, O, V. November. And the last one, M, B, E, R, C, D, E, E. December!
Let us quickly go over what we learned today. There are 12 months in a year. Each month begins with a capital letter. Which month is your birthday in?
Great job, everyone! See you next time!
