Revision Activity 1: Red Light, Green Light

Time: 5 minutes

• Teacher holds up a red, a yellow or a green card
• Children say the name of the light and what to do

Revision Activity 2: Name the Sign

Time: 10 minutes

• Hold up sign cards from page 78: Right Turn, Left Turn, Two Way Traffic, U Turn, Parking, Stop, No U Turn, No Parking, Airport Ahead
• Children say the name

Revision Activity 3: Match the Cards

Time: 10 minutes

• Place the sign cards and word cards on the floor
• Children match each sign with its word

Key Points to Remember

• The traffic light has a red light, a yellow light and a green light
• We cross the road at the zebra crossing
• Signs show us what to do on the road: Stop, Parking, Left Turn, Right Turn
• A red line across a sign says "No": No U Turn, No Parking
