Revision Activity 1: Say Your Name

Time: 5 minutes

• Say the five vowels: a, e, i, o, u
• Remind children that a long vowel says its own name, like the long "a" in "cake"

Revision Activity 2: Sing and Sort

Time: 10 minutes

• Sing one verse from page 19 together
• Children put a hand up at every long vowel word
• Do the same with the other verses

Revision Activity 3: Playdough Words

Time: 10 minutes

• Roll playdough into a cube and a tube
• Say both words together and listen for the long "u"
