Exercise A: Circle the Letter T
Say "T" with your child. Ask your child to circle every T and t in the rows below.

Exercise B: Look and Say
Point to each picture in the textbook (page 54). Your child says the word. Tick the box when your child says it.

Exercise C: Match the Word to the Picture
Say each word aloud. Your child draws a line from the word to the correct picture.

Exercise D: Write 't' at the End
Say the first part. Your child writes t in the space. Then say the whole word together.

Exercise E: Colour the Train
Draw a train (an engine and two trucks) in the box. Your child colours it with bright colours.

Ask: "What is this?" Your child says "train".
Exercise F: Trace and Write Tt
Capital first, then small. "T" goes straight down, then a line across the top. Small "t" goes down with a little curl, then a short line across.

Print rows 1 and 2 in a dotted tracing font. Your child writes "Tt" on their own on row 3.
Exercise G: Say the Sentence
Say the sentence to your child. Your child repeats it.
"The tortoise and the tiger are playing near a train."
Now ask:
- Who is playing? (the tortoise and the tiger)
- What are they playing near? (a train)
