Exercise C: Match the Word to the Picture

Say each word aloud. Your child draws a line from the word to the correct picture.

Draw a nest with three eggs in the box. Your child colours the nest brown and the eggs blue.

Exercise G: Say the Sentence

Say the sentence to your child. Your child repeats it.

"A nurse reads the newspaper, and a boy holds a net."

Now ask:

1. What does the nurse read? (the newspaper)
2. What does the boy hold? (a net)
