Revision Objectives

• Recognise capital "F" and small "f" and say the sound /f/
• Recall the words fox, fish, flower, fan, frog and flag
• Repeat the sentence "The fox and the fish love the yellow flower."
• Trace and write "Ff", capital first, then small

Revision Activity 1: Blow the Fish

Time: 5 minutes

• Float a paper fish in a clear bowl of water
• Each learner blows it across and says /f/ /f/ fish
• Ask: "Is the fish moving fast or slow?"

Revision Activity 2: Point and Say

Time: 5 minutes

• Open page 17 or hold up picture cards
• Say a word and learners point to it: fox, fish, flower, fan, frog
• Then swap: you point, learners say the word
• Clap once for every correct answer

Revision Activity 3: Fox Sentence Game

Time: 5 minutes

• Hold up page 17 and point to the fox, the fish and the flower
• Say "The fox and the fish love the yellow flower."
• Learners repeat in a quiet fox voice, then a bubbly fish voice, then a normal voice
• Ask: "What colour is the flower?" (yellow)

Revision Activity 4: Five Fingers

Time: 4 minutes

• Hold up fingers one at a time and count to five together
• Ask for four fingers, then two fingers, then five again
• Say: "Five starts with /f/ too!"

Revision Activity 5: Air and Pencil Tracing

Time: 8 minutes

• Draw a big "F" in the air together: down, then across at the top and middle
• Draw a small "f" in the air: curve over, down, short line across
• Trace one row of dotted "Ff" on a fresh sheet, capital first, then small
• Check that every learner starts at the top

Revision Activity 6: Missing F

Time: 4 minutes

• Write _an, _ish, _rog and _ox on the board
• Say each word; a learner comes up and writes "F" in the gap
• Say the finished word together
