Hello, little friends! Welcome back to our English lesson. Today we are going to meet a new letter. It is the letter C!

Look at the two letters. This one is big C. This one is small c. They look the same, but one is big and one is small. Can you say it with me? C!

The letter C makes a sound. It is a short, hard sound at the back of your mouth. c, c, c. Like the start of cat. c, c, c. Very good!

Now look at the big picture. We are in a sunny town with palm trees. There is a little orange cat. Say cat. Cat! Cat starts with c. c, c, cat.

Where is the cat sitting? On a green car! Say car. Car! c, c, car.

And who is the cat talking to? A big brown camel! Say camel. Camel! c, c, camel.

Listen to our sentence. The cat is sitting on the car while talking with the camel. Say it with me. The cat is sitting on the car while talking with the camel. Wonderful!

Here is a cow. Moo! Say cow. Cow! c, c, cow.

And here is a birthday cake with three candles. Say cake. Cake! c, c, cake.

Can you tell me three things that begin with c? Cat, car, camel. Yes! And cow and cake too. You are so clever.

Now let us play a game. If the picture begins with c, clap your hands. Cake. Clap! Bus. No clap. Cow. Clap! Bear. No clap. Well done!

Now it is time to write the letter. We always write big C first, then small c.

Hold up your finger. Let us make big C in the air. Start near the top. Curve round to the left, all the way down to the bottom, and stop. Leave it open, like a big mouth. That is big C!

Now small c. It is the same shape, but small. Start near the top, curve round to the left, and stop. That is small c!
