Formative Assessment

1. Name the Profession (During Day 1)

• Task: Point to a picture on page 37 and ask "Who is this?"
• Criteria: Names at least 4 out of 6 professions
• Rating: Excellent / Good / Needs Practice

2. Who Am I? (During Day 2)

• Task: Give clues from the book, e.g. "I mend shoes. Who am I?"
• Criteria:
  • Says the right profession
  • Answers quickly and clearly
• Rating: Excellent / Good / Needs Practice

3. Matching Check (During Day 3)

• Task: Check page 38
• Criteria: Correctly matches at least 3 out of 4
• Rating: All correct / Most correct / Needs support
