Revision Activity 1: Nod or Shake

Time: 5 minutes

• Teacher asks the questions from page 36
• Children nod and say "Yes" or shake their heads and say "No":
  1. Do you obey your parents? (Yes)
  2. Do you fight with your classmates? (No)
  3. Do you go to school daily? (Yes)
  4. Do you love your country? (Yes)

Revision Activity 2: Is This a ...?

Time: 10 minutes

• Open page 36 and point to each picture
• Ask: "Is this a ball?" (Yes, this is a ball.)
• Ask: "Is this a pencil?" (No, this is a pen.)
• Ask: "Is that a boy?" (No, that is a bird.)
• Then point to the pictures again and ask the questions in a new order

Revision Activity 3: Yes / No Card Game

Time: 10 minutes

• Each child has a Yes card and a No card
• Teacher asks questions about the pictures on page 36, e.g. "Is this a pen?" "Is that a bird?" "Is this a pencil?"
• Children hold up the right card
• Give a star on the board to children who answer correctly
