1. Retell the story "Truthfulness" with the help of pictures
2. Answer simple questions about the story
3. Say the moral of the story
4. Name the animals in the story

Formative Assessment

1. Picture Talk (During Day 1)

• Task: The teacher points to the pictures on pages 16-17 and asks: "What is happening here?"
• Criteria: Child names the animals and says what they are doing
• Rating: Excellent / Good / Needs Practice

2. Story Questions (During Day 2)

• Task: Children answer the page 18 questions orally:
  1. Where did the cow go?
  2. Who caught the cow?
  3. Who was waiting for the cow?
  4. Did the lion let the cow go?
  5. What happened to the cow in the end?
• Criteria: Correct short answers
• Rating: All correct / Most correct / Needs support

3. Colouring (During Day 3)

• Task: Children colour the lion and the cow on page 18
• Criteria: Colours stay inside the lines; the picture is neat
• Rating: Neat / Satisfactory / Needs improvement
