Exercise A: Circle the Letter z
Say "z" with your child. Ask your child to circle every letter z in the rows below.

Exercise B: Look and Say
Point to each picture in the textbook (page 28). Your child says the word. Tick the box when your child says it.

Exercise C: Match the Word to the Picture
Say each word aloud. Your child draws a line from the word to the correct picture.

Start at the top left. Go across, slant down, then go across.

Exercise F: Say the Chant
Say each line to your child. Your child repeats it.

Now ask:
- Which animal is native to Africa? (the zebra)
- What sound does zoo start with? (/z/)
Exercise G: Big Z or Small z?
Point to each letter. Your child says "big Z" or "small z".
