Hello, little friends! Welcome to our English lesson. Today we are going to meet a new letter. It is the letter w!

Look at this big red letter. Here is a big W and a small w. Can you say it with me? w!

The letter w makes a sound. Make your lips small and round, like you are blowing a kiss. Now say w, w, w. Very good!

Now look at the picture. We are on a farm. Can you see the well? It has a little roof and a bucket on a rope. Say well. Well! Well starts with w. w, w, well.

Look at the tall yellow plants. This is wheat. Say wheat. Wheat! w, w, wheat.

Here is a big round watermelon. It is green outside and red inside, with little black seeds. Yum! Say watermelon. Watermelon! w, w, watermelon.

And here is a big wooden wheel. Say wheel. Wheel! w, w, wheel.

Let us say all our w words together. Well. Wheat. Watermelon. Wheel. Great job!

Now let us say the chant from the top of the page. Clap with me. w, w, well. w, w, wheat. w, w, watermelon. Wonderful!

Here is one more line. Listen. w, w, wheel rolls round. Say it with me. w, w, wheel rolls round. Now roll your hands round and round, just like a wheel!
