Point to each picture in the textbook (page 21). Your child says the word. Tick the box when your child says it.

Exercise C: Match the Word to the Picture

Say each word aloud. Your child draws a line from the word to the correct picture.

Exercise D: Colour the Strawberry

Draw a big strawberry with leaves on top in the box. Your child colours the strawberry red and the leaves green.

Exercise E: Trace the Letter Ss

Start at the top. Curve round to the left, then curve back round to the right, like a wiggly snake. Go slowly, like the snail.

Exercise F: Say the Chant

Say each line to your child. Your child repeats it.

Now ask:

1. Who goes slowly? (the snail)
2. Who is flying in the sky? (the seagull)
