Hello, little friends! Welcome to our English lesson. Today we are going to meet a new letter. It is the letter n!

Look at this big red letter. This is big N, and this is small n. Can you say it with me? n!

The letter n makes a sound. It says n, n, n. The sound comes out of your nose. Touch your nose and say it with me. n, n, n. Very good!

Now look at the picture. We are at a hospital. Here is a kind nurse. She wears blue clothes and helps people who are not well. Say nurse. Nurse! Nurse starts with n. n, n, nurse.

Look at the gate. There is a big number on it. It is number nine! Let us count to nine. One, two, three, four, five, six, seven, eight, nine! Say nine. Nine! n, n, nine.

Look down here. This is a big brown nut. A little squirrel is holding the nut. Say nut. Nut! n, n, nut.

And look up in the tree. There is a nest on the branch. Birds make nests. How many eggs are in the nest? One, two. Two eggs! Say nest. Nest! n, n, nest.

Let us say all our n words together. Nine. Nut. Nurse. Nest. Great job!

Now let us say our chant. Clap with me. n, n, nine. n, n, nut. n, n, nurse. Wonderful!

Here is a little rhyme about the nest. Listen. n, n, nest holds two eggs. Say it with me. n, n, nest holds two eggs. Hold up two fingers for the two eggs!

Let us play a game. When I say nine, hold up nine fingers. Nine! When I say nest, cup your hands like a nest. Nest! When I say nurse, listen to your heart. Nurse! Well done!

Now it is time to draw the letter n. Hold up your finger. Let us draw a big N in the air. Go down. Go back up. Slant down to the bottom. Now go straight up. Big N!

Now let us draw a small n. Start at the top. Go down a short line. Go back up. Make one hump, over and down. Small n!

One more time, nice and slow. Down, up, and one hump. Well done!

Let us remember what we learned today. The letter n says n, n, n.

Nine starts with n. Nut starts with n. Nurse and nest start with n too.

n, n, nest holds two eggs.
