Hello, little friends! Welcome to our English lesson. Today we are going to meet a new letter. It is the letter l!

Look at this big red letter. This is big L, and this is small l. Can you say it with me? l!

The letter l makes a sound. It says l, l, l. Put your tongue up behind your top teeth and sing it. l, l, l. Very good!

Now look at the picture. Here is a woolly lamb. The lamb has soft white wool and round glasses. Baa, baa! Say lamb. Lamb! Lamb starts with l. l, l, lamb.

Look down here. These are lemons. They are yellow and they taste sour! Can you make a sour face? Say lemon. Lemon! l, l, lemon.

Here is a big brown log. A log is a piece of a tree. Say log. Log! l, l, log.

And who is this? It is a big lion! Next to him is a little lion cub. Say lion. Lion! l, l, lion.

Let us say all our l words together. Lamb. Lemon. Log. Lion. Great job!

Now let us say our chant. Clap with me. l, l, lamb. l, l, lemon. l, l, log. Wonderful!

Here is a little rhyme about the lion. Listen. l, l, lion roars in the jungle. Say it with me. l, l, lion roars in the jungle. Can you roar like a lion? Roar!

Let us play a game. When I say lamb, say baa softly. Lamb! Baa. When I say lemon, make a sour face. Lemon! When I say lion, give a big roar. Lion! Roar! Well done!

Now it is time to draw the letter l. Hold up your finger. Let us draw a big L in the air. Go straight down. Now go across to the right. Big L!

Now let us draw a small l. Start at the top. Go down, down, down, one tall straight line. Small l! That was easy!

One more time, nice and slow. Start at the top and go straight down. Well done!
