Point to each picture in the textbook (page 13). Your child says the word. Tick the box when your child says it.

Exercise C: Match the Word to the Picture

Say each word aloud. Your child draws a line from the word to the correct picture.

Exercise D: Colour the Kangaroo

Draw a big kangaroo outline in the box. Your child colours the kangaroo orange-brown and draws a little baby in its pouch.

Exercise F: Say the Chant

Say each line to your child. Your child repeats it.

Now ask:

1. Who jumps high in the air? (the kangaroo)
2. Who wears a crown? (the king)
