Hello, little friends! Welcome back to our English lesson. Today we are going to meet a new letter. It is the letter G!

Look at the big red letters. This is big G. And this is small g. Can you say it with me? G, g!

The letter g makes a sound. It comes from the back of your throat. g, g, g. Say it with me. g, g, g. Very good!

Now look at the picture. We are in a garden full of green leaves and purple grapes.

Here is a girl. She has a yellow coat with two fluffy balls and colourful socks. Say girl. Girl! Girl starts with g. g, g, girl.

Who is standing next to her? It is an orange goat with curly horns. Say goat. Goat! g, g, goat.

Look at the path. There is a clear glass. We drink water from a glass. Say glass. Glass! g, g, glass.

Let us say our chant together. g, g, girl. g, g, goat. g, g, glass. Wonderful!

Now look up at the top. Can you see the big bunch of purple grapes? Say grapes. Grapes! Grapes start with g too.

Let us say this line together. g, g, grapes are small and round in shape. Again! g, g, grapes are small and round in shape. Great job!

Make a small round shape with your fingers, just like a grape. Well done!

Let us say all our g words together. Girl. Goat. Glass. Grapes. You are so clever!

Now hold up your finger. Let us draw small g in the air. Curve round like a little ball. Go back up to the top. Now go down, down, and curl a tail under. That is small g!

Let us draw big G too. Make a big curve round, like big C. Now go up a little and make a short line in. That is big G!

One more time, nice and slow. Small g, round, up, down, and a tail. Big G, round and in. Well done!

Let us remember what we learned today. This is big G and small g. The letter g says g, g, g.

Girl starts with g. Goat starts with g. Glass starts with g. And grapes are small and round in shape.
