Exercise A: Circle the Letter f
Say "f" with your child. Ask your child to circle every letter F and f in the rows below.

Exercise B: Look and Say
Point to each picture in the textbook (page 8). Your child says the word. Tick the box when your child says it.

Exercise C: Match the Word to the Picture
Say each word aloud. Your child draws a line from the word to the correct picture.

Tip: Draw or stick small pictures in the right-hand column before printing.
Exercise D: Colour the Flower
Draw a big flower outline in the box. Your child colours the petals yellow and the leaves green.

Ask: "What is this?" Your child says "flower".
Exercise E: Trace the Letter f
Start with a little hook at the top. Go straight down, then make a short line across.

Print these rows in a dotted tracing font, with a red dot at the starting point of each letter.
Exercise F: Say the Chant
Say the chant to your child. Your child repeats it.
"f / f / flag, f / f / flower, f / f / frog"
Now say the rhyme line together:
"f / f / fish loves diving and rolling"
Ask:
- What does the fish love? (diving and rolling)
- Which one is green and smiling? (the frog)
