Look at the big red letters. This is big D. And this is small d. Can you say it with me? D, d!

The letter d makes a sound. Tap your tongue behind your top teeth. d, d, d. Say it with me. d, d, d. Very good!

Now look at the picture. We are by a pond. There is blue water, green trees and a little wooden bridge.

Look up in the air. What is that? It has long wings and big eyes. It is a dragonfly! Say dragonfly. Dragonfly! Dragonfly starts with d. d, d, dragonfly.

Here is a boy. He is playing a big drum. Boom, boom, boom! Say drum. Drum! d, d, drum.

Who is sitting on the grass? It is a dog! The dog is brown and white, and he looks very happy. Say dog. Dog! d, d, dog.

Let us say our chant together. d, d, dragonfly. d, d, drum. d, d, dog. Wonderful!

Now look in the water. There is a big white duck. And look, she has three little yellow ducklings! Let us count them. One, two, three! Say duck. Duck! Duck starts with d too.
