• Remember that action words tell us what we are doing
• Find the action word in the page 40 sentences
• Name and write the actions reading, listening, cooking and jumping

Revision Activity 1: Simon Says

Time: 5 minutes

• Play "Simon says" with action words: running, swimming, singing, sleeping, eating, jumping
• Learners do the action only when they hear "Simon says"

Revision Activity 2: Find the Action Word

Time: 6 minutes

• Read a sentence from page 40
• Learners call out the action word
• Use: The bird is singing. The sun is shining. The jackal howls. The elephant ambles.

Revision Activity 3: Guess the Action

Time: 5 minutes

• A volunteer acts out an action word
• The class guesses and says the full word: "cooking!"

Revision Activity 4: Finish the Sentence

Time: 4 minutes

• Say: "The cat is ..." Learners say "sleeping"
• Say: "Two boys are ..." Learners say "running"
• Say: "The sun is ..." Learners say "shining"

Revision Activity 5: Write the Actions

Time: 5 minutes

• Look at the Activity Time pictures on page 40
• Learners say and write: reading, listening, cooking, jumping
