Say "T, /t/" with your child. Ask your child to circle every T and t in the rows below.

Exercise B: Look and Say
Point to each picture in the textbook (page 25). Your child says the word. Tick the box when your child says it.

Exercise C: Match the Word to the Picture
Say each word aloud. Your child draws a line from the word to the correct picture.

Exercise D: Colour the T Picture
Draw an apple and a tortoise in the boxes. Your child colours only the picture that begins with "T".

Ask: "What is this?" Your child says "tortoise".
Exercise E: Trace the Letter T
Big T: straight down, then a line across the top. Small t: straight down with a little curve at the bottom, then a short line across.

Print these rows in a dotted tracing font, with a red dot at the starting point of each letter.
Exercise F: Do You Know?
Ask your child: "Which vehicle begins with 'T'?"
Answer: train. Your child says "train, choo choo!"
Exercise G: Sound Check
Say each word. Your child claps if it begins with /t/.
