• Recognise the capital and small letter "Tt" and say the sound /t/
• Recall the words tree, tortoise, train and tomato
• Name a vehicle that begins with "T"
• Pick the picture that begins with "T"

Revision Activity 1: Tick-Tock T

Time: 4 minutes

• Hold up the "T" card. Learners tap the table and say /t/ /t/ /t/ like a clock
• Hold up the "t" card and do it again
• Say together: "T says /t/"

Revision Activity 2: Point and Say

Time: 6 minutes

• Open page 25
• Say a word and learners point to it: tree, tortoise, train, tomato
• Then swap: you point, learners say the word
• Clap once for every correct answer

Revision Activity 3: Slow Tortoise, Fast Train

Time: 5 minutes

• Say "tortoise": learners walk very slowly
• Say "train": learners chug a little faster and say "choo choo"
• Say "tree": learners stand still with arms up
• Each time, learners say the word

Revision Activity 4: Vehicle Quiz

Time: 3 minutes

• Ask: "Which vehicle begins with 'T'?"
• Learners say "train" and make a short train line

Revision Activity 5: Tortoise or Apple

Time: 6 minutes

• Show the apple and tortoise outlines from page 25
• Say "tortoise". Learners give a thumbs up for /t/
• Say "apple". Learners give a thumbs down and say "/a/"
• Learners colour a tortoise outline on a fresh sheet

Revision Activity 6: Air Writing

Time: 3 minutes

• Draw a big "T" in the air together: straight down, then a line across the top
• Draw a small "t": straight down with a little curve at the bottom, then a short line across
