Hello, little friends! Welcome to our English lesson. Today we are going to meet a new letter. It is the letter Q!

Look at this big red letter. This is big Q, and this is small q. Big Q looks like a round O with a little tail. Can you see the tail? Can you say it with me? Q!

The letter Q makes a sound. It says kw, kw, kw. Push your lips forward and say it with me. kw, kw, kw. Very good!

Now look at the pictures. Here is a quail. A quail is a small, round bird. This quail has a funny curly feather on top of its head. Can you say quail? Quail! Quail starts with Q.

Here is a quill. A quill is a big feather with a pen at the end. A long time ago, people used a quill to write. Say quill. Quill!

Look at this boy. He is thirsty, so he is drinking a glass of water. When we drink water because we are thirsty, we quench our thirst. Say quench. Quench! Pretend to drink some water with me. Gulp, gulp. Ahh!

And here is a quiver. A quiver is a bag that holds arrows. Say quiver. Quiver!
