Hello, little friends! Welcome to our English lesson. Today we are going to meet a new letter. It is the letter P!

Look at this big red letter. This is big P, and this is small p. Can you say it with me? P!

The letter P makes a sound. It says p, p, p. Press your lips together and pop them open. p, p, p. Put your hand in front of your mouth. Can you feel a little puff of air? Very good!

Now look at the pictures. Here is a parrot. It is flying to a branch, and it has red, yellow and blue feathers. Can you say parrot? Parrot! Parrot starts with P. p, p, parrot.

Here is a peach. One half is cut open. Say peach. Peach! p, p, peach.

Look at this little green plant with lots of leaves. Say plant. Plant! p, p, plant.

And here is a panda. It is black and white, and it is eating a green stick. Munch, munch! Say panda. Panda! p, p, panda.

Let us say all our P words together. Parrot. Peach. Plant. Panda. Great job!

Now I have a question for you. Which country begins with P? Here is a clue. It is our own country. Yes, it is Pakistan! p, p, Pakistan. Say it nice and loud. Pakistan!

Now let us play a game. Look at these pictures. An octopus, a panda, a peach and a plant. Which ones begin with p? Panda, yes! Peach, yes! Plant, yes! What about octopus? No, octopus begins with o. In your book, join the panda, the peach and the plant to the big letter P.

Let us draw the big P in the air with our finger. Go straight down. Go back up to the top. Now go round to the middle. That is big P!

Now the small p. Go straight down, all the way below the line. Go back up, and go round. That is small p!

Let us remember what we learned today. The letter P says p, p, p. Parrot, peach, plant and panda all start with P. And Pakistan starts with P too!
