Hello, little friends! Welcome to our English lesson. Today we are going to meet a new letter. It is the letter N!

Look at this big red letter. This is big N, and this is small n. Can you say it with me? N!

The letter N makes a sound. It says n, n, n. Put your tongue up behind your teeth and hum it with me. nnnn. Very good!

Now look at the pictures. Here is a plate of noodles. The noodles are long and yummy. Can you say noodles? Noodles! Noodles starts with N. n, n, noodles.

Look up in the tree. There is a nest on the branch. Inside the nest there are two little blue eggs. Say nest. Nest! Nest starts with N. n, n, nest.

Here is a nurse. A nurse helps us when we are not well. She has a stethoscope round her neck, and she is giving us a big thumbs up! Say nurse. Nurse! n, n, nurse.

And here is a net. A net is full of little holes. Say net. Net! n, n, net.

Let us say all our N words together. Noodles. Nest. Nurse. Net. Great job!

Now I have a question for you. Which part of your body begins with N? Here is a clue. You use it to smell flowers. Sniff, sniff! Yes, it is your nose! Touch your nose and say nose. n, n, nose.

Now let us play a game. I will show you two pictures. One is a nest and one is a lantern. Which one begins with N? Nest! n, n, nest. Lantern does not begin with N. In your book, put a tick on the nest.

Let us draw the big N in the air with our finger. Go straight down. Go back up to the top. Slide down to the side. Now go straight up. That is big N!

Now the small n. Go straight down. Go back up, and make a little hump over and down. That is small n!

Let us remember what we learned today. The letter N says n, n, n. Noodles, nest, nurse and net all start with N. And your nose starts with N too!
