Hello, little friends! Welcome to our English lesson. Today we are going to meet a new letter. It is the letter H!

Look at the big red letters. This is big H, and this is small h. Can you say it with me? H!

The letter H makes a soft sound. Put your hand in front of your mouth. Now say h, h, h. Can you feel the warm air on your hand? That is the H sound. h, h, h. Very good!

Now let us look at the pictures. Every picture begins with H.

Now I have a question for you. Do hens lay eggs round the year? Think, think. Yes, they do! A hen lays eggs in summer and in winter, all through the year. Thank you, hen!

Now let us play a game. I will show you two pictures. One is a hook and one is an apple. Which one starts with h? Listen. Hook. Apple. Yes, hook starts with h! Apple starts with a. So we tick the hook. Well done!

Let us draw H in the air with our finger. Go straight down. Go straight down again. Now go across the middle. That is the letter H!

Let us remember what we learned today. The letter H says h, h, h. Hive, hen, helicopter and hook all start with H. And hens lay eggs all through the year.
