Hello, little friends! Welcome back to our English lesson. Let us remember our letters. A, B, C, D, E, F. You are doing so well!

Today we are going to meet a new letter. It is the letter G!

Look at this big red letter. This is big G. And this is small g. Small g has a little tail that hangs down. Can you say it with me? G!

The letter G makes a sound. It says g, g, g. Short and quick. Say it with me. g, g, g. Very good!

Now let us look at some pictures that begin with G.

Look at this green grasshopper. It is sitting on a plant. A grasshopper can hop very high! Hop, hop! Say grasshopper. Grasshopper! g, g, grasshopper.

Here is a giraffe. It has a very, very long neck and brown patches. Can you stretch up tall like a giraffe? Say giraffe. Giraffe!

Look at these green grapes. They grow in a big bunch. Yum, yum! Say grapes. Grapes! g, g, grapes.

And here is a galah. A galah is a pink and grey bird. Say galah. Galah! g, g, galah.

Let us say all our G words together. Grasshopper. Giraffe. Grapes. Galah. Great job!

Now the boy in the hat has a question for you. Which fruit begins with G? Look at the pictures. Which one is a fruit? Yes, grapes! Grapes are a fruit, and grapes begin with G.

Now it is time for a little game. Look at the bottom of the page. There is a big pink G in the middle. Around it there are four pictures: a frog, some grapes, a goat and an ant.

Which ones begin with g, g, g? Frog. No, frog starts with f. Grapes. Yes! Goat. Yes! Ant. No, ant starts with a. So we join the grapes and the goat to the letter G.

Let us draw the letter G in the air. Hold up your finger. Start at the top and go round like a C. Then make a little line going in. That is big G! Well done!

Let us remember what we learned today. The letter G says g, g, g. Grasshopper, giraffe, grapes and galah all start with G. And goat starts with G too.
