Hello, little friends! Welcome back to our English lesson. Let us remember our letters. A, B, C, D, E. Wonderful!

Today we are going to meet a new letter. It is the letter F!

Look at this big red letter. This is big F. And this is small f. Can you say it with me? F!

The letter F makes a sound. Put your top teeth on your bottom lip and blow. f, f, f. It sounds like a soft wind. Say it with me. f, f, f. Very good!

Now let us look at some pictures that begin with F.

Look at this flamingo. It is a big pink bird with a long, long neck. A flamingo can stand on one leg. Can you? Say flamingo. Flamingo! f, f, flamingo.

Here is a frying pan. There is an egg cooking in it. Sizzle, sizzle! Say frying pan. Frying pan!

Look at this blue fish. It swims in the sea. Swish, swish! Say fish. Fish! f, f, fish.

And here is a red fan. It opens up wide. We wave a fan to keep cool. Say fan. Fan! f, f, fan.

Let us say all our F words together. Flamingo. Frying pan. Fish. Fan. Great job!

Now the boy in the hat has a question for you. Which living thing begins with F? Living things eat and grow. Is the frying pan living? No! Is the fan living? No! Is the flamingo living? Yes! Is the fish living? Yes! The flamingo and the fish are living things, and they begin with F.

Now it is time for a little game. Look at the bottom of the page. There is a big pink F in the middle. On one side there is a frog. On the other side there is an apple.

Does frog start with F? f, f, frog. Yes! Does apple start with F? Apple. No! Apple starts with a. So we colour the frog. You can make it green!

Let us draw the letter F in the air. Hold up your finger. A straight line down. Then a line across the top, and a little line across the middle. That is big F! Well done!

Let us remember what we learned today. The letter F says f, f, f. Flamingo, frying pan, fish and fan all start with F. And frog starts with F too.
